Norwegian Colt M. 1914 Semi-Auto Pistol

DESCRIPTION: Colt M.1914 pistol
manufactured by Kongsberg Arsenal under Colt's license in Norway
(under Nazi occupation) in 1941. The pistol is practically
identical with Colt M.1911, except for the markings and finish.
The pistol displays following markings on the left side of slide:
"11.25 m/m. AUT. PISTOL. M/1914". Right side
of the slide is marked: "1941". Matching
serial numbers, except for the disassembly lever (the serial
numbers are stamped on virtually all steel parts of the pistol).
5" barrel. 7 shots, original military magazine with lanyard
lop. All complete and in as issued military configuration. War
time quality of machining and metal finish. CONDITION: Fine+.
88-90% of original blue finish is still on metal. Most of the
finish wear is on sharp edges of the frame and slide. Some blue
is rather thin. The blue on the hilt is starting to turn to brownish
color. The bore is in excellent condition with strong and
shiny rifling. Original wooden grips with diamond checkering
show some minor wear and handling marks. Very strong action.
All the markings and numbers are clearly visible on the metal.
All the internal parts of the pistol are in excellent condition,
with no visible wear. Difficult to find war time production

Scarce Argentinian Commercial Ballester-Molina Semi-Auto

DESCRIPTION: Scarce Argentinian
commercial pistol manufactured by Hispano-Argentina Fabricas
de Automoviles SA in Buenos Aires, Argentina in the 1940-s.
Left side of the slide is marked: "PISTOLA AUTOMATICA
C. 11.25 mm. FABRICADA POR 'HAFDASA' PATENTES INTERNACIONALES
'BALLESTER-MOLINA' INDUSTRIA ARGENTINA" (in three lines,
please note the metric caliber designation). 5" barrel.
The design closely follows the lines of Colt M1911 A1, except
for the omission of the grip safety. The pistol displays only
one serial number stamped on the hilt next to the magazine floorplate.
The serial number has an "X" prefix. According to some
collectors, this number was stamped in order to satisfy the US
firearms importation rules. All complete and in original configuration.
Very high quality of machining and metal finish! CONDITION:
Low excellent. 96-97% of original crisp, blue finish on the
metal. The blue finish is worn mostly on the edges of the slide
and frame. Couple of minor scratches on the lower part of the
slide. Excellent bore with strong and shiny rifling. Very
nice hardwood grips without any handling marks. Very strong action.
All the markings and numbers are clearly visible on the metal.
All the internal parts of the pistol are in like new condition,
with no visible wear. Very attractive Argentinian Ballester-Molina
pistol! No import markings. Serial# X1XX. |

DESCRIPTION: Scarce Argentinian
National Gendarmerie contract pistol manufactured by Hispano-Argentina
Fabricas de Automoviles SA in Buenos Aires, Argentina in
1930-s. Marked on the right side of slide: "Gendarmeria
Nacional" and a nice Argentinian Crest. Left
side of the slide is marked: "PISTOLA AUTOMATICA C. 45.
FABRICADA POR 'HAFDASA' PATENTES INTERNACIONALES 'BALLESTER-MOLINA'
INDUSTRIA ARGENTINA" (in three lines). Matching serial
numbers, except for the magazine. 5" barrel. 7 shots
magazine. The design closely follows the lines of Colt M1911

to find Argentinian National Gendarmerie contract pistol. Small
import markings on the hilt next to the magazine floorplate.
