DESCRIPTION: Very scarce Belgian Nagant M.1910 gas-sealed revolver! The revolver design copies the best features of Nagant M.1895 and French M.1892. The cylinder swings to the right for loading and unloading. The cylinder is locked by the lever on the right side of the frame (looks like a loading gate, but it has a different function). The revolver was offered for sale on the civilian market, but without big successes. The revolver is marked on the left side of the frame with the maker address, "L. Nagant Brevete Liege 1910". House of Liege proof marks are stamped on major parts of the revolver. There are no military acceptance/property markings stamped on the revolver. Gas-sealed cylinder. The cylinder capacity is seven rounds. 4.5 inch long round barrel. Wooden grips with diamond checkering. Fixed front and rear sight. Complete with lanyard ring. CONDITION: Low excellent. 90-92% of original blue still on metal. The balance is in white mixed with some light patina. Most of the finish wear is on the barrel and hilt. Some finish is turning to brownish color. Original checkered grips are in fine condition, without any cracks. Minor wear to the checkering. All matching serial numbers. Excellent bore with strong and shiny rifling. The cylinder chambers are also in excellent condition. Strong action. All the markings and numbers are clearly visible on metal. All the internal parts of the revolver are in excellent condition, with no visible wear. This revolver is in all original condition, not a reblue, not an import. Belgian Nagant M.1910 revolver in very collectible condition. Low, three digit serial number. Serial# 2XX. (Ref.: "Les Revolvers Et Les Fusils Nagant" by Claude Feys and Rene Smeets, pp. 127-129).

Swedish Husqvarna Nagant M.1887 Revolver in .22 LR Caliber

Caliber: .22 LR

Price: $650

Inventory # ngp_0078

Pictures:

DESCRIPTION: Scarce Swedish .22 LR Nagant M.1887 revolver! The revolver was manufactured by Husqvarna, Sweden, as indicated by markings located on the left side of the frame, just in front of the cylinder. Husqvarna manufactured only 14,000 revolvers from 1897 to 1905. Due to attrition over time, collector desirability, and such low production numbers, the M1887 revolver is getting difficult to find. The revolver is almost identical with Norwegian M.1893. The major difference is a square front sight, instead of the rounded one on the Norwegian gun. The revolver was converted to fire .22 LR by means of inserting subcaliber tubes into barrel and cylinder's chambers. Right side of the revolver's frame displays Swedish military property number, "L No. 308". 4.5 inch long octagonal barrel. The lanyard ring is a replacement. Very high quality of machining and metal finish! CONDITION: Excellent. 97% of original crisp blue remaining on metal parts. The blue is worn mostly on the edges of of octagonal barrel, frame and cylinder (light holster wear). Nice hardwood grips with diamond checkering. Excellent bore with strong and shiny rifling. The cylinder's chambers are also in excellent condition. Very strong action. All the markings and numbers are clearly visible on the metal. All the internal parts of the revolver are in excellent condition, with no visible wear. High quality military revolver in .22LR caliber! Serial# 87XX.
